Rememoried (2015)

No, this is not the most beautiful game ever, but being pretty isn’t what makes something art. Vladimír Kudělka’s Rememoried indeed has a unique look and its own visual style which is sure to impress, but judged also by the merits of its gameplay it’s certainly art before beauty.

Lifeless Planet (2014)

Lifeless Planet, as a concept and as a game, is a success by a lot of measures. From its respectable Kickstarter earnings to the game’s eventual execution across a trio of platforms, I can’t imagine the developer and publisher can find any room for Disappointment.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (2014)

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter was a title I’d been keeping an eye on for awhile, but my expectations for it barred me from grabbing it at full price. I was eventually able to pick it up on sale and give it a thorough playthrough, and was glad I had waited for the discount.
